Getting around Southport

Southport has a great network of buses and trams to all the local destinations.

The 704, 713, 719 bus services run every 5-15 minutes in peak and 10-30 minutes in off-peak.

Trams run every 15 minutes or better between 5am and midnight on weekdays, and 24 hours on weekends.

You can travel from Southport to Surfers Paradise for $3.31 (adult go cards during peak times).

Griffith University, Gold Coast - has two G:link tram stops on campus: Gold Coast University Hospital and Griffith University station (Southport) stations.

Bus routes to the Uni are: 700, 710, 714, 719, 738, 739.

Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH) - the G:link tram stop is located below the main entrance of the hospital.

Plenty of buses also go to the GCUH. Look for the: 710, 714, 719, 738 and 739.
